emm-flagsIn 2003, Éric Tédeschi (Worshipful Master Chaîne d’Union Européenne 183, Longwy, France ) formed the idea of an annual European Masonic meeting to give Brethren from regular European lodges the opportunity to meet and share Masonic experiences, information and ideas.   His Lodge was the first to host this annual event, which aims to create a European regular fraternity by transmitting an object symbolizing the European Masonic Unit from lodge to lodge.  Each year a regular European lodge organizes a meeting so that brothers from across Europe can join together to form the European Chain of Union.  The first ritual work was held in Longwy on 24 May 2003. In 2017, the event will be hosted in England for the first time, by the David Bonner Lodge of Music and Harmony No 9678, UGLE.  The event has been hosted by the following lodges:
